Placrylic™ Art Fair Schedule: 16.11.22

The first Placrylic Art Fair will be held on November 16, 2022, at York's Middlethorpe Hall. Following The National Trust's Placrylic-based art installation in Spring 2022, collectors and industry leaders will gather to see 40 new historic paintings created with Placrylic, a sustainable plant medium for artists invented by English Painter and Chemist, artist hana. In keeping with the art fair theme of Migration, the artists used a limited palette of placrylic colours. The only sustainable art gallery owner in the world, and well-known journalists who actively campaign for a sustainable future will speak at the fair as special guests

4pm to 5pm

  • Some of the 30 placrylic art fair artists are met in person by art gallery directors, art collectors, and press

5pm to 7pm

  • Art Fair Host, Daisy Rogers talks to Hana about the eight placrylic colours

    Live Stream on Youtube begins at 5pm

  • Guests move from the Boardroom to the Grill Room for the Guided Tour of 40 Placrylic Paintings to commence

  • Art Fair Host, Daisy Rogers interviews four placrylic artists

    5:45pm to 6:00pm: Artist Hana

    6:05pm to 6:10pm: Juliet Petrarulo

    6:10pm to 6:15pm : Lital Albeldas

  • British Vogue's Sustainability Editor, Dana Thomas sits for a live portrait

    English Placrylic Artist Brad Kenny whose collectors include Tom Jones, will be in The Barlow Room creating a speedy portrait of Dana Thomas, author of Fashionopolis

    Whilst Brad Paints, Dana will answer from a list of pre-submitted questions about sustainability and fashion

8pm to 9pm

  • Sustainable art gallery owner, Veronica Sekules sits for a live speedy portrait

    English Placrylic Artist Brad Kenny whose collectors include Tom Jones, will be in The Barlow Room creating this speedy portrait

    Whilst Brad Paints, Veronica will answer from a list of pre-submitted ask me anything questions

9pm to 10pm

  • After viewing forty sustainable placrylic paintings, 50 collectors will choose one painting each to be custom-made into a limited edition bamboo art print or organic cotton cushion

10pm to Midnight

  • Staying guests relax at Middlethorpe Hall, former home of Lady Mary Wortley Montagu
