When I create abstract paintings, after taking colour into consideration, I start at a single point and diverge outward to wherever my imagination takes me. Escaping the Change

  • This painting is depicting the plant kingdoms response to climate change. Trees and plants that once found in abundance in certain areas are becoming increasingly rare and seem to be moving to areas were they were less commonly found as the climate is suiting them better there. In essence plants are escaping the change in the same way people are having to do and will increasingly have to do in the future unless climate change is addressed.
    In Scandinavia and Alaska tree are being found at much higher altitudes and they more sparse in the valleys below
